The ACTE Annual General Assembly in Igualada attracted the attention of most members of the Spanish network, as well as representatives from Belgium, Italy, Poland, Portugal and Sweden. The meeting began with a warm welcome from Mr Marc Castells, Mayor of Igualada and Mrs Àngels Chacon, Vice Mayor as hosts of the assembly. 

During the Annual General Meeting headed by Ulf Olsson, President of ACTE,an annual report on economics was presented. Members received information on the REBELPIN Fashion Awards by ACTE, which will be presented between July 3-7 in Berlin during the Berlin Fashion Week by a jury of the best professionals in the fashion industry.  Members of the General Meeting approved as a new board are as fallows:

- Treasurer: Mr. Antonio Quintao (AMAVE)

- Belgian Vice Mayor: Mr Michel Francuska (IEG Mouscron)

- Vice Mayor from Italy: Ms Daniela Toccafondi (City of Prato)

- Vice Mayor from Poland: Mr. Krzysztof Piątkowski (City of Łódź)

- Vice President of Portugal: Mr Joaquim Couto (AMAVE)

- Vice Mayor from Spain: Ms Angels Chacon (Igualada City)

- Vice Mayor from Sweden: Mr. Ulf Olsson / Mrs. Annette Carlson (City of Boras) 

The network’s Executive Committee had its first meeting this year on the same days. During the meeting, the Committee made several decisions regarding the future of the network, including: on the renovation of the Statutes as well as on the election of a new member to lead the Working Group of European Projects - Spanish Fitex. The Annual General Meeting also gave all members the opportunity to learn about local culture. Guests were invited to a rehearsal of Moixiganguers d’Igualada, the association of human towers of the city of Igualada. ACTE members also approved the time and venue of the next General Meeting to be held in Boras (Sweden) in April 2019.
