BigBooster aims to support technological start-ups in developing their business and enable expansion into foreign markets. In the first phase of the project, companies from all over the world participated in a series of mentoring sessions that supported them in developing their development strategy. Over the past two weeks, all the cities - project partners have demonstrated their economic potential in their Webinars. Each city presented an investment offer convincing young business adepts to learn about the potential of the local innovation ecosystem in person during the study visits planned for spring 2021. In this field, Łódź competes with Lyon, Boston, Barcelona, Manchester, Frankfurt and Turin.

On December 16, a promotional webinar of the City of Łódź was held with the participation of the first vice-president of the city, Adam Pustelnik. The event was led by Mateusz Sipa, Deputy Director of the Bureau of Economic Development and International Cooperation. The promotion of Poland and Łódź as an attractive place to live and implement innovative business projects joined: Magda Kubicka from the Łódź Special Economic Zone, Radzym Wójcik from Baker McKenzie Krzyżowski i Wspólnicy, Karolina Korzeniewska representing the consulting company Antal, Paweł Rusinow and Bartosz Weryho from Pintech Quantum , Grzegorz Liśkiewicz from the Łódź University of Technology and Jasja van der Veen, an entrepreneur from Łódź and a representative of the Dutch-Polish Chamber of Commerce. The Co\Walk Hub co-working center lent us the premises for the meeting.

We would like to thank all our Partners for their commitment and time. We are convinced that this unique project will contribute to the development of Łódź and the start-ups operating here.
