Small EXPO not for Poland

Poland has lost the competition to organise EXPO 2022. However Łódź will not resign from its plans and promises regarding the investments in the New Centre of Łódź and establishing a centre for revitalization.

47,46% were cast for Łódź, which competed against Argentina (Buenos Aires) and USA (Minneapolis). Finally it is Argentina to host the next EXPO in 2022.

EXPO has never been hosted in the Central-Eastern Europe. The subject of Łódź candidacy was “City Re:Invented”.
