Their visit is the result of an earlier meeting of representatives of the Crisis Management and Security Department of the City of Łódź with representatives of the Fire Department in Lviv. To Łódź came Mrs. Avdieyeva Khrystyna and Mr. Turovtsev Vitalii. The representatives of the City of Lviv were also supposed to participate in the International Firefighting Competition organized by the Crisis Management Center of Łódź, which was to take place in June, but the pandemic changed these plans. The delegation came to exchange experiences with the State and Municipal Fire Departments in the field of safety education for young people and children. They also visited the Specialist Rescue Group from Łódź, which deals with searching for people with the help of dogs.

On October 20, the delegation met with the President of the City of Łódź Mrs. Hanna Zdanowska, as well as Commanders of the State and Municipal Fire Brigades.
