It was the first official visit of His Excellency Aldo Amati to our city. The Ambassador was interested in the challenges the city is facing, especially those related to ecology and climate, such as decarbonization and social problems.

During the meeting with the President Mrs. Hanna Zdanowska, the Ambassador also mentioned the possibility of establishing and extending cooperation between Łódź and Italian universities. This topic was later continued during the meeting with representatives of Łódź universities and entrepreneurs.

During the visit to Łódź, the Italian delegation could also meet representatives of the City of Łódź responsible for revitalization, including the social revitalization, and of the Environmental Management Department, who presented the assumptions of the ECOpact.

The delegation also visited the Special Economic Zone in Łódź. During this visit His Excellency and representatives of the zone discussed  possible areas of cooperation. Then,  Mr. Ambassador and the delegation paid a visit to the headquarter of one of the Łódź companies with Italian capital – BFF Banking Group.
