During the meeting, Ambassador Alejandro Negrín Muñoz and Mayor Hanna Zdanowska talked about mutual Polish-Mexican contacts, Poland’s candidacy to host the International Exhibition EXPO 2022 in Łódź, which will focus on urban regeneration, and about the possibilities of cooperation in various fields, including economy or culture. Alejandro Negrín Muñoz has been carrying out his diplomatic mission in Poland since June 2016. Previously, he served in the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In addition to the meeting in the City of Łódź Office, the Ambassador of United States of Mexico had meeting in the Marshal's Office of the Lodz Voivodeship, Cinematography Museum in Łódź, EC1, at the University of Łódź and also had the opportunity to see biggest attractions of Łódź.

On Friday 30 June 2017, the United States of Mexico Ambassador Negrín Muñoz, paid a visit to Łódź including the Mayor of Łódź Hanna Zdanowska. It was his first visit that diplomat from Mexico paid to Łódź. The meeting had informative character.
