The development of the housing market in Łódź has occurred along the development of other real estate sectors. This notably concerns the development of office spaces influenced by numerous initiatives led by the local authorities such as revitalisation programs, infrastructure development, and promotion of the city (also in the international arena). Logistics and warehouse sectors have also developed. This is the reason why the housing market in Łódź has recorded it dynamic growth. Apart from buyers looking for an apartment for themselves, the market has gained interest from customers buying apartments in order to rent them later. In 2018 alone, 4.6 thousand apartments have appeared on the market for sale – it’s 2.5 times more than 3 years earlier.
