In Łódź, a modern research and technological centre is being built

Centre of Molecular Studies on Civilisation Diseases is being created at the Medical University of Łódź. The MOLecoLAB project was co-financed from the Regional Operational Programme of the Łódzkie Region. It budget amounts to PLN 60 million, including co-financing from the ROP ŁR equal to 41.6 million, and own contribution of the university – 18.4 million.

At the campus of the Clinical and Didactic Centre of the Medical Centre in Łódź, a modern passive building will be built housing the highest level scientific and research laboratories for chemical and biological research and analyses. The entire facility will have 4.5 thousand m2.

The laboratories will conduct research and development and design innovative diagnostic and therapeutic products and services. In the Centre, cooperation with industry at the national and international level will be conducted, as well.

The opening of the modern facility is planned for the end of 2021.
