Compared with other Polish cities, Łódź has a large number of public day nurseries, i.e. 30. There are also a lot of nursery schools – as many as 141. Thanks to that, Łódź ranks second in terms of “access to education” (expressed as the number of educational establishments per resident). Moreover, the tuition fees at private primary schools in Łódź are also low – the only city where these are lower is Bydgoszcz. The situation looks similar in the case of private day nurseries – only Białystok can boast lower fees.
The city also ranked high in terms of attractive prices on the housing market. Among the largest Polish cities, Łódź boasts the most budget-friendly flats. The costs of buying and renting flats in our city are much lower than the national average.
