An interesting offer for entrepreneurs are also development vouchers for trainings. Thanks to them one can obtain up to 80% of financing for selected courses, including the ones improving professional competences. The operator of the activity is, among others, Łódź Special Economic Zone and Łódź Regional Development Agency.

Apart from financial aid, the city of Łódź engage also in other activities aimed at supporting entrepreneurs. These include, among others, undertakings of the Department of Entrepreneurship. A comprehensive project implemented by the entity is Lodzkie4business, whose activity consist in, among others, inviting companies for trade fairs and economic foreign missions, workshops and business events.

The city offers also a broad scope of support for persons starting their own economic activity. The groups privileged in applying for aid are persons older than 50 years old, long-term unemployed, women, persons with disabilities, and those with low qualifications. However, a much larger group of people starting their own business may apply for funding.
