A step forward
Over the past few years, co-working, i.e. a special space intended for working independently or in teams, became an integral part of city centres and shopping malls. The Manufaktura Mall is currently undergoing renovation, so the question is: will the renovation provide a separate space for business? Sławomir Murawski, Director of Manufaktura, says that right now co-working, in the literal sense, is not in the works, but the centre is talking to various brands to change the situation in the future. After the renovation is completed, the visitors will be able to use tables dedicated especially to co-working.
Co-working foodcourt
At the moment, the place that serves as co-working space is Manufaktura’s foodcourt, i.e. the designated restaurant area in the shopping centre. It is where business meetings often take place and freelancers come to work. The foodcourt in Manufaktura is effectively one of the most popular co-working places in Łódź. After the renovation, it may attract even more people.
