Office and hotel resources in Łódź are growing

For three years now, the office market in Łódź has been growing at a rapid rate. Currently, the city comes in sixth in Poland in terms of available office space. The total resources of modern office space in Łódź amount to nearly 500,000 sq. m (according to Walter Herz). This is the same amount of office space as in cities such as Katowice or Poznań.

Currently, the largest office project in the city consists in construction of the New Centre of Łódź. The project is also the largest public investment in Europe. At present, more than 100,000 sq. m of office space are under construction – as part of projects such as Łódź City Gate B1&B2, Hi Piotrkowska 155, Imagine A&B, Monopolis M1, Teal&Sepia. Planned investments include construction of the Fabryczna Office Centre (JJ Inves), investments at Piłsudskiego Street (Ghelamco) and the project at Kilińskiego Street (Echo Investment). HB Reavis and Ghelamco are also preparing for new investments in the New Centre of Łódź.

Łódź also boasts extensive hotel resources. According to data included in the latest report on the hotel market by Walter Herz, the Łódź hotel market is one of the most rapidly developing in Poland. By the end of this year the number of hotel rooms in the city is expected to grow by more than 40% compared with resources at the end of 2016.
