The goal of the Forum is to present Polish achievements in biotechnology to foreign investors and encouraging them to cooperation. CEBioForum is a part of a greater event, that is, Polish-American Biotech Bridge. The idea of a biotechnological bridge between Poland and USA developed in 2018. The American edition of the Forum takes place this year in Boston.

CEBioForum aims at supporting start-ups and modern natural science technologies. The event is accompanied by tradeshows and conferences which facilitate establishing business contacts.
During CE BioForum 2019, Central European BioForum Awards will be granted. It is a competition in which the most innovative enterprises from the biotech sector take part. The awards will be granted in four categories: Market leader, R&D leader, Start-up.
