The purpose of the visit was to present Poland and Polish economic potential, to radio and television representatives from Senegal – to show them Polish achievements as well as the innovativeness of Polish companies  (especially from sectors that offer the greatest possibilities of deepening cooperation between Poland and Senegal, such as the maritime industry and agro – food processing sector).

The journalists were also making reportage materials about Poland. During their stay they also visited in Łódź among others: Priests Mill, Manufaktura and EC1. The team was very interested in progress of area revitalization. Together with the representatives of the City of Łódź Office, journalists visited Włókiennicza Street, which is now huge construction site.
