“It’s a new, but evolving direction in business which very quickly gains a global coverage. Biotechnology, pharmacy but also a widely understood concept of lifestyle and healthcare which lead to the improvement of our comfort and increasing life expectancy constitute a challenge for scientists and companies for which there is a demand,” said Hanna Zdanowska, Mayor of the City of Łódź, announcing the EU-Med to be held in September. These are only a few topics which will be the subject matter of the summit in Łódź, where industry startups will introduce themselves and scientists and practitioners from Poland and the world will be able to discuss the future and share experience.

Adam Broncel, managing partner of the Biomedin VC fund confirmed that there are already a lot of companies of this type in Łódź and the entire region, and the organisation has at its disposal a capital of PLN 100 million for the support of initiatives in this scope.
