During the meeting, the Ambassador had the opportunity to see the plans of the Mayor for the current term and the biggest challenges for the near future, which include improving the quality of residents life. The talks also concerned the upcoming elections to the European Parliament, which in the opinion of both the Mayor and Ambassador, will be crucial for Poland and Europe. The Mayor emphasized the role of EU fund in the development of the city. Łódź is the largest beneficiary of these funds per capita.

The Swedish Ambassador talked about joint initiative of Ericsson and the Łódź University of Technology, as part of which it is planned to test 5G Internet at the University of Technology.
