We are looking for a Finance Officer to be a part of our Subsidiary Accounting Operations unit closely cooperating with finance teams in the Nordics, Luxembourg and in Łódź.
This is an opportunity for you to take part in interesting assignments, where you will deepen your knowledge in finance & accounting area, gain experience in process mastering of Statutory and Regulatory Reporting.

About this opportunity
You’ll join Subsidiary Accounting Operations (SAO) department where we are working in close collaboration with colleagues in our Nordic finance reporting teams to develop and provide high quality process support services towards Nordea’s finance organisation and financial market regulators.
What you will be doing:
Monthly closing activities incl. accruals and other GL bookings, reconciliations, allocations, intercomany invoicing, investigating intra-group differences, both from legal, as well as from business perspective
Statutory and Regulatory Reporting
Daily accounting processes, including e.g. external and intercompany invoice handling, posting of bank statements
Balance sheet account reconciliation
Participating and driving of various projects

Your profile and background:
Deep accounting knowledge, proven with experience in following areas: general ledger, consolidation, financial and business analysis, controlling or financial audit
Transition of processes from the client’s location would be an asset
Strong finance and accounting knowledge
Analytical skills
Very good command of excel
Knowledge of lean methodology, VBA, Power BI would be an asset
English on professional level (at least B2)
