Opis stanowiska

The main responsibility of this role is to provide pricing and margin analysis for EMEA product lines with a focus on the EMEA cable product lines (indoor and outdoor)

• Respond to price requests for day-to-day quoting when product prices (cable) are not in the system also as a backup for additional products


• Provide price quotes and support to Deal Desk, Customer Care, and Sales and Marketing


• In addition to price, ensure quotes group incorporates appropriate product availability, lead time, Minimum Order Quantity, and for Cable e.g. cut charges


• Support the regional teams (Deal Desk and commercial teams) and Product Pricing Office with day-to-day price related inquiries and quoting when prices are not in the system


• Provide price support for large request for quotation contract price lists


• Assist with pricing/margin analysis as required for selected project bids, and competitive information vs. Corning pricing rules – Maintain data out of Workflow in SAP

Wymagania

• Engineering and or Business degree preferred


• Experience relative to product pricing desired, experience in product/project management, manufacturing, business analysis, or commercial organization


• Fluent English


• Comprehensive computer skills (Excel, Access, SAP, etc.)


• Strong analytical skills (both quantitative and qualitative) with ability to see the big picture as well as the individual details


• Demonstrated ability to recognize the impact decisions could have on future opportunities (strategic thinking)


• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks within established timelines and without significant supervision


• Excellent interpersonal and phone sales skills to communicate with external and internal customers
